Check your domain’s SPF and DMARC records.
Missing WordPress notifications or WooCommerce order emails? Start by checking your public email-authentication DNS records. This free lookup shows what’s published and points out common configuration problems, without asking you to register.
What this checker can tell you
SPF lists allowed sending sources for an SMTP envelope domain. DMARC tells receivers how to handle mail that fails alignment with the visible From domain. We inspect the TXT records at the exact domain you enter and its _dmarc name. We also flag multiple policies, an overly permissive SPF +all ending, and missing or unrecognized DMARC policy values.
What it cannot verify
A DNS lookup does not prove that your actual WordPress email authenticates successfully. SPF can be published at a separate Return-Path domain. DKIM requires a selector or a delivered message to identify the relevant DNS key, and DMARC alignment must be evaluated on real mail. This checker does not inspect message headers, provider acceptance, bounces, spam-folder placement, or reputation. A published record is not a deliverability guarantee.
Troubleshooting a WordPress site?
If a password reset or store notification never arrives, first determine whether WordPress generated the email, whether SMTP accepted it, and whether the receiving service later rejected it. DNS authentication is one important layer, but it isn’t the only possible cause.
